天津爆炸案後，官方21日首度公佈爆炸倉庫中的危險品，一共2500噸，其中存放的劇毒氰化鉀高達700噸。距離爆炸中心6公里的岸邊，浮現大量死魚，且發出濃烈腐臭，官方調查後表示，與爆炸案無關，是因近日高溫降雨後汙染物流入河內，引起河川優養化，才導致魚類缺氧死亡。

官方公布的倉庫存放物中，比例最高的是氧化物，包含硝酸銨和硝酸鉀，約有1300噸，還有約500噸的易燃物體，以及700噸的劇毒氰化鉀。官方表示，爆炸中心產生的深坑中，氰化鉀最高超標800倍。

當地居民表示河川從未出現大規模死魚的現象，質疑是否有爆炸後的汙水流入河中，官方稱該河段未檢驗出氰化物，天津市環境監測中心主任鄧小文強調事故所有污水都封堵在事故區內，魚類是因河川優養化才缺氧而死。

根據中國中央電視台報導，事故區內的汙水氰化物濃度平均超標40多倍，需耗時3個月才能處理完畢，官方表示環保部門已經做好臨時處理裝置，但許多民眾質疑根本隔離不了地下水受汙染。

會否引發慢性病仍在評估

民眾也指出，爆炸後淋到雨的身體部位有灼傷感，淋雨的植物也接連枯萎，環保部應急中心主任田為勇表示，爆炸後對居民的短期影響一定會有，長期是否會引發慢性病仍在評估。

中共權力核心中央政治局常委會昨開會，專題聽取天津爆炸事故情況，要求查清原因，不論涉及誰都一查到底，依法嚴肅追責，給社會一個負責任的交代，總理李克強昨主持國務院會議時表示，要擴大天津爆炸有毒有害物的搜尋範圍。
